For the remodeling of a private home in California, SUNRAY installed a practical set of fixed glass connecting corridors for the customer, simply and effectively connecting the two buildings, the main house and the guest house.

Design solution:
The project adopts the structural scheme of tempered glass with aluminum alloy frame, which not only ensures sufficient structural strength, but also achieves good light transmission. During the construction process, attention was paid to the sealing treatment, and high-quality silicone sealant was used for waterproofing work to ensure that the corridor could be used normally even in the rainy season. The whole installation adopts the pre-buried parts fixing method, which is firm and reliable, but also maintains the appearance of simple and beautiful.
Project results:
The completed gallery, with a span of 6 meters, not only solves the problem of rain protection for the owner’s passage between the two buildings, but also maximizes the retention of natural light. The transparent nature of the glass allows the gallery to be bright and open, while blending perfectly with the original modern minimalist style of the villa. This cost-effective solution creates a comfortable and convenient transition space for the owner at the most reasonable cost.
