Sunray creates a window and door system designed for tropical climates for a high-rise condominium in downtown Manila, Philippines.
customer expectation:
The customer wanted to upgrade their existing windows and doors with excellent water and moisture resistance to cope with heavy rainfall during the rainy season, as well as improved ventilation, enhanced acoustic performance, and a modern, minimalist design to ensure that the installation process did not interfere with the existing décor.
Design solution:
We use broken-bridge aluminum alloy profile (6063-T5) with double-layer insulated tempered glass (5mm+12A+5mm), designed with multi-chamber sealing structure and hidden drainage system to ensure waterproof and soundproof performance. Push-pull opening method enhances ventilation efficiency, and anti-typhoon locking point device ensures safety. The surface is powder coated and anti-corrosion treated to adapt to high humidity environment.
Project results:
The window and door system demonstrates excellent waterproof sealing performance, keeping the interior completely dry during the rainy season; the innovative soundproof structure effectively blocks 42dB of external noise, significantly enhancing the living comfort; the optimized ventilation design increases the air exchange efficiency by 50%, ensuring fresh indoor air circulation. The construction team efficiently completed all the installations in only 10 days, and the final rendering effect is harmonized with the building facade, which not only meets the practical functional requirements, but also achieves the modern aesthetic standards.
