In the hot and windy climate of Palestine, we have developed an innovative mobile pool cover solution for a local client. The project stems from the client’s three core requirements for the daily maintenance of an open-air swimming pool: effective protection against dust, long-lasting insulation and safety.
The project was located in an open-air swimming pool area in a private courtyard. On-site investigation revealed that the pool had been facing problems such as sand attack, leaf pollution and night-time safety hazards for a long time. Our engineering team designed a functional and aesthetically pleasing solution to address these pain points. The use of a high-strength aluminum alloy skeleton with UV-resistant PC panels ensures a solid and durable structure that can effectively withstand the strong local sunlight. The innovative slide rail system supports electric/manual dual-mode operation, making opening and closing easy and convenient.
Of particular note is the system’s perfect balance of protection and aesthetics. When closed, it blocks 98% of sand and dust intrusion and prevents accidental falls at night; when open, it is completely invisible and does not affect the normal use of the pool. The double-layer hollow design not only has excellent heat preservation performance, but also effectively reduces the rate of water evaporation, helping customers save more than 30% of water replenishment costs.
After the completion of the project, this smart pool cover system was highly recognized by the customer. Measurement data showed that it successfully reduced the daily cleaning frequency by 70% and increased the water temperature maintenance capacity by 40% at night, while its simple and smooth line design added a touch of modern aesthetics to the courtyard. This case not only solves the typical problem of swimming pool maintenance in the Palestinian area, but also provides a replicable and successful model for the protection of outdoor water features in similar climatic conditions.
We believe that this kind of solution, which combines intelligent technology with practical aesthetics, can bring a new outdoor living experience to more customers in the Middle East.
